Dust mites in Thai homes need several tactics

Hot, humid air lets dust mites thrive all year. What works best is doing several things together: hot-washing sheets and pillowcases at 55–60°C every 1–2 weeks, vacuuming the mattress at least weekly, using mite-proof covers and controlling bedroom humidity.

If your allergy symptoms stay severe even with a well-kept home, see a doctor. The tools in this category reduce your exposure to mites, but they are not a treatment.
